Beef Katsu (ビーフカツ), also called Bifu Katsu or Gyukatsu (ビフカツ、牛カツ), is steak (cut beef) coated with Panko bread crumbs and deep-fried. Beef Katsu is very similar to Tonkatsu fried pork, but it is less known outside Japan.
