Today’s miso soup is made with rolled oats. It tastes like porridge with a Miso flavor. This easy and tasty oatmeal soup is great for anybody but especially for people who want to lose some weight. Oatmeal has a lot of fiber, and spinach is full of nutrition. Miso Soup with Oatmeal could be part of a meal, or it can stand strong by itself. It’s filling and satisfying, and oh so healthy. Miso Soup with Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 4 cups Dashi
- 2 green onions
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 4 Tbsp Miso paste
- 2 cups baby spinach
Instructions
- Make Dashi broth with Katsuobushi bonito flakes. Or you can use a Dashi packet according to our Dashi recipe.
- Slice green onion thinly.
- Add oats in the broth and cook for 3-4 minutes. Dissolve Miso paste in the soup.
- Add spinach and cook for a minute, and add green onion just before removing from heat.
