Miso Soup with Daikon and Fried Tofu

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Dashi
  • 4 " long daikon radish
  • 3-4 pieces fried tofu (Atsuage)
  • 4-5 tbsp miso paste

Instructions 

  • Cut daikon radish into matchsticks. Cut the fired tofu into bite size pieces.
  • Make Dashi broth according to Dashi recipe. Or you can use an instant Dashi.
  • Cook daikon and fried tofu in the Dashi, covered for 5 minutes or until the daikon is soft.
  • Dissolve Miso Paste in the soup and stir.
