Homemade Japanese fried rice with simple ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1/4 brown onion
  • 2 slices ham
  • 4 shrimp
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 2 cups steamed rice
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • white pepper
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce

Instructions 

  • Chop brown onion coarsely. Cut ham and shrimp into small pieces. Chop green onions finely.
  • Heat wok with oil at high heat. Stir-fry onion, ham, and shrimp.
  • When half way cooked, add steamed rice and cook breaking apart. Pour beaten egg over rice and cook until the egg coagulates. Add green onions.
  • Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce and cook a minute longer.
